Mad River Web has attempted the occasional portal to steer traffic to client sites or to sell local goods and services.

Mad River Bytes, a database of menus and specials, was popular around 2005, before it was as easy as it is today for restaurants and other businesses to keep their websites and menus fresh.

We used to have domain names such as MadRiverFoods.com, MadRiverBrands.com and MadRiverClassifieds.com hoping to build them into something useful. We still have MadRiverStore.com and MadRiverArts. We are open to ideas.
