• If you or a customer cannot access (view) your site, please "refresh" or "reload" first, then check to see if you can view other major websites (in the event that local phone or DSL lines are down or busy rather than the server). In some cases the electronic route taken from one side to the other of the Green Mountains involves a trip through New York City as well.

• Email is our preferred method of communication. It is cost-effective, allows efficient and defined transmittal of information and attachments, and provides a record of communications.
• We no longer publish a fax number due to excessive abuse and decreasing need, however, you are welcome to fax to this number with advance notice, fax 802-496-4941.
• We also have an I-fax number, 802-329-2141. You may fax to this number at any time. Your fax is emailed to us and we print it.

Traffic Statistics (Stats)  When you host your site with MadRiverWeb, you have access to website statistics.

Listings Maintenance  If MadRiverConsulting maintains listings on your website, please send updates, additions, deletions to updates. This will ensure that your listings are updated in a timely manner by copying multiple people.

Testing Your Site  We advise that you periodically test the functional parts of your website such as order and inquiry forms. Occasionally an ISP makes system changes that trigger other undesirable results such as a broken form script. We recommend that you test your forms once a month to make sure they are working properly, and let us know if you suddenly see a drop-off in form or email inquiries.

WHOIS  Check the availability of a domain name or the details of your registration. A second service is Internic.

Business Hours  Mad River Consulting, like many computer companies, keeps late business hours, generally 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, by appointment. Often we are working late into the evening and early morning and over the weekend, so getting your information to us in a timely manner increases the likelihood of quicker turnaround. We often make a trip to the post office between 4 and 5 pm and are available to stop by your office for pick-ups and drop-offs.

• Spring/summer/fall hours are weekdays 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. Rarely are we available on the weekends in the summer, however, we do check email regularly. We are closed several weekday mornings until noon for exercise/sports activities and these days vary. We are closed Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
• Winter hours
  Sat,Sun,Mon,Tue 10 am to 9 pm.
  Wed,Thu,Fri 10 am to 4 pm.
  We will likely be closed for part of one or two weekdays and some weekends for exercise/sports activities.

Mad River Consulting is a home-based business located at 3370 North Fayston Road, North Fayston, VT, see map for directions. We have a networked office where we welcome clients and prospects to meetings and consultations, provide training, and hold photo shoots by appointment. Often client appointments are held at the client's office where client materials and computer systems may be easily accessed. Our office is accessed through the upper front door. If you are in the area and wish to drop off some materials, you may leave them inside the garage. Please provide advance notice when possible. We may be available to greet you if in the office.
